dc.description.abstractThe purpose of this paper is to consider theoretical and practical issues in relation to the notion of Restorative justice with particular reference to the Nigerian context. The paper will begin with an analysis of the “Restorative Justice”; it will then go on to discuss the nature and principles of Restorative Justice; application of restorative justice; and Restorative justice measures. The International scenario in relation to Restorative Justice will then be considered followed by a focus on the Nigerian context. The paper will raise issues on the implementation of Restorative justice in Nigeria. The paper will conclude with recommendations regarding possible ways forward for Restorative justice in Nigeriaen_US
